Educating one child won't change the world – but, for that one child, the world will change forever.
On behalf of the Goa 2012 Team and Silcoates School we would like the thank the following for helping make Goa 2012 such a fantastic trip.
The Educators Trust India's mission is to educate and empower Goa’s underprivileged children. Funded solely by donations, we aim to help those most in need and to initiate social change by:
• Supporting underprivileged, migrant children from rural slum areas and enabling them to build a better future for themselves.
• Teaching children and their parents about education, hygiene and nutrition.
• Promoting children's confidence and awareness, encouraging their potential and helping to develop a pride in India.
They have played a huge role in allowing this project to work. Not only is the building registered to the charity but the hard work that they put into helping children in India has inspired the staff and students at Silcoates to want to help out and make a difference. I would like to thank Ian Pugh and his team, Mr and Mrs Mistry for all their hard work in helping us get this project going.
Inspire Worldwide is a social enterprise (registered. no: 6769716) specialising in running tailor-made community projects which partner groups from the UK with charities in the developing world.
Our aim is to create on-going and sustainable links between groups from the UK and our charities in sub-Saharan Africa. However, this year they have offered their expertise to help us arrange the trip to Goa.
They have been a massive help in the organisation of the trip as well as carrying out all the health and saftey information needed.
We at Silcoates School would personally like to thank Beth for all her help; it wouldn't have been possible without her.

The New Ellington is a funky boutique hotel with 35 chic bedrooms in the middle of Leeds' financial district. The entrance to this red-brick building is discreet, but you immediately enter a striking atrium of lavish furnishing and décor. The name is, of course, a tribute to Duke Ellington who played at the city's 1958 music festival, and the funky, Art Deco interiors are inspired by New Orleans.
It has a great resturant that offers quality food that you will never forget. It is worth a visit on any night of the week.
Premier Fruit and Nut Ltd is a family run company which focuses on all variety of nuts. They have recently lauched their organic range and sell to the global market. Premier have supported a lot of charities and recently they visited Uganda on a water charity project.
The Silcoates FPA (Foundation Parents' Association) are key in supporting school events. They work very hard to promote the school and raise money that is used to develop further the education and facilities at Silcoates.
They have fully supported the Goa 2012 project and we would like to thank Mrs Corrina Slaski and her team them for all their support.
